Harley-Davidson Motor Company needed to rev up production at its York, PA
plant, the renowned motorcycle manufacturer asked Jno. Z. Barton, Inc. to
climb aboard. We designed and installed new and modernized power and control
systems, including a 33% upgrade of its 115 KV substation, replacement of 480
V switchboards, the addition of a complete tie system bringing all
switchboards together and an upgrade of its 15 KV distribution.

International Corporation, now Johnson Controls, Inc., is known worldwide
for excellence in manufacturing industrial, government, commercial and
residential HVAC systems. When an explosion rocked its Grantley plant, we
raced to the scene to help assess damage and do whatever was necessary to
provide a safe uninterrupted power source. Barton also provided design-build
expertise for a new state of the art electrical system and construction of
its new test facility—on time and within budget.

its available power, it again sought Jno. Z. Barton, Inc. To earn our “A?
with this long term client, we upgraded its power system and moved it
underground—safely and without interruption to classes and services. The 1.5
year project also included upgrades for secondary services.
